Espérance Banlieues Poissy, nouveau partenaire de Mécénat Servier
Mécénat Servier a signé un partenariat avec l’association Espérance Banlieues Poissy. L’association dispose du label du réseau Espérance Banlieues qui lui a permis de concrétiser l’ouverture d’une nouvelle école à Poissy.
L’école élémentaire privée « Le cours La Galiote », a ainsi pu s’ouvrir en novembre 2020 dès validation par le rectorat. Cette école a pour objectif de lutter contre le décrochage scolaire des enfants habitant notamment dans les quartiers prioritaires de la ville. L’association souhaiterait d’ici les cinq prochaines années, pouvoir constituer cinq classes du CP au CM2 de quinze élèves.
Mécénat Servier s’est associé à ce projet en versant un montant de 60 000 € sur deux ans. Ce financement contribuera entre autres au paiement du salaire du Directeur de l’école, embauché en juillet dernier.
Par ailleurs, des missions de mécénat de compétences seront envisagées avec les collaborateurs Servier dès que la situation sanitaire le permettra.

Espérance Banlieues Poissy, new charity partner of Mécénat Servier
Mécénat Servier has signed a partnership with the association Espérance Banlieues Poissy. The association has the label of the Espérance Banlieues network, which has enabled it to make the opening of a new school in Poissy.
The private primary schools « Le cours La Galiote » opened in November 2020 after validation by the rectorate. The aim of this school is to fight against children dropping out of school, particularly in the city’s priority neighbourhoods. Within the next five years, the association would like to be able to create five classes from CP to CM2 with fifteen pupils.
Mécénat Servier has associated with this project by paying an amount of 60 000 € over two years. This funding will contribute, among other things, to the payment of the salary of the school’s Director, who was hired last July.
In addition, skill-based sponsorship missions will be considered with Servier employees as soon as the health situation permits.
